Hey there, beautiful ones! Today, we’re going to talk about something that many people try to avoid. What would you do without a computer? As a creator, I know you’re like, wait, Trina, what do you mean no computer?
Well, I used to look at creating as something I had to do on a computer. There was no way I would be able to create the posts and blogs I wanted without one. There were a couple times I stopped myself from creating because I didn’t have access to a computer. However, as time progressed and as of lately, I use my phone if I’m really in a bind.
Creativity in the Palm of Your Hand 📱
You can create through your phone quite easily. Same kind of posts and blogs you put together on the computer, you can accomplish the same on your phone. Honestly, as creators, we put too much stock into having a computer sometimes.
If I were without my computer, I would spend a lot more time reading, to be honest, honing my skills as an amazing creator, spiritual advisor, and healing specialist. I mean, I read a lot now, but I do a lot of it through my computer. It would be nice to go back to books because there’s nothing like that new book smell and the accomplishment you feel as the pages dwindle down.

I also like to write out things with a pen and paper before transferring them to the computer. I’m very old school with it. As a creator, it is important that outside of creating you should also be taking the opportunity to learn new skills, and sometimes that means putting your computer to the side. You may have to take out an actual pen and paper to write your masterpiece, get a flip portfolio and some colored pencils for your art, or grab some blank sheet music and create the symphony you’ve dreamed of.

Having a computer is great but sometimes it hinders us from the feeling you get when you actually create a work of art with your hands without the use of technology. Understand this, creator, you can create whether you have a computer or phone or just a pen and piece of paper. You are talented, so utilize that talent whether you have access to a computer or not. Don’t hinder yourself because we as a society have gotten used to creating through a computer screen. Trust in your abilities without it. You are the master of your craft, so go be that computer or no computer. You can do it. I believe in you.
