Hey there, beautiful ones! Let’s dive into a topic that’s always ticking away in the background, yet we often find ourselves at odds with it – time. They say time waits for no one, and I couldn’t agree more. However, my perspective on time might be a tad different from what you’ve heard before.
I firmly believe that everything in life unfolds with divine timing. I don’t fret about having too little or too much time; instead, I see it as having precisely the right amount of time to accomplish what I need to. It all comes down to how we perceive time.
Time – Friend or Foe?
In the creative world, it’s easy to get caught up in the notion that time is running out. We often find ourselves exclaiming, “There’s not enough time!” But I’m here to tell you that if you’re taking action, you have all the time you need.
As a content creator, I’m well aware of the time it takes to craft a blog post – the writing, creating graphics, editing, and inserting links – it all adds up. On average, it might take an hour and a half. However, when I’m truly in the creative flow, time seems to warp, and I get things done faster. Why? It’s because I’m not stressing about the clock, and more importantly, I cherish the creative journey.
Love the Journey, Not the Deadline
Loving the journey of creating is the secret sauce. When you adore what you’re doing, you’ll find that time doesn’t become an enemy. I don’t force my creations; instead, I trust that everything is unfolding as it should. Gone are the days when I used to berate myself for not achieving more as a writer and creator. That self-destructive mindset only led to wasting time in self-pity, time that could have been spent creating.
Now, instead of lamenting about time slipping through my fingers, I sit down in front of my laptop or grab a trusty notebook and just create. I don’t burden myself with trying to get everything done in one sitting. I understand that it’s about the actions I take, whether big or small. It’s about the progress I make and the love I pour into my work. So, my fellow creators, the next time you feel that nagging worry about time, remember, all you have to do is take action. Trust in your creative journey.
