Feminine vs. Masculine: Finding Harmony in Daily Blogging

Hey there, beautiful ones! Today, I was faced with a dilemma – do I take the day off or do I keep my streak alive? If you have been following the blog for a while, you know that I am on a course to write a blog post per day for 365 days. Today is Day 158. However, I asked myself, what if I don’t write a post today? As I discussed with you in yesterday’s post, I had some aha moments and realizations about my life and how I’ve been living it for the past 40 years. I understand that my masculine has ruled the majority of my life while my feminine has been badly wounded. So today I wondered how I could honor my femininity.

The Fine Line Between Structure and Intuition

Doing things on a schedule has been what I relish, but I don’t create just to create. There’s always a plan or reasoning behind my creations. Now, there’s nothing wrong with that, but to be in the feminine is all about intuition. And my intuition was saying, “It doesn’t have to be done if you don’t want to” and “You don’t have to do it now, do it when it feels right.”

I try to keep the aesthetics on my Instagram a particular way, and that comes with strategic scheduling. So, instead of getting right up and getting to work, I laid in the bed (I’m not feeling well physically), practiced Spanish, played a crossword puzzle, and spent time with my middle daughter. When all this was done, I finally came to write for the day.

The point of telling you all this is to confirm that it’s okay to take your time while still having priorities. I didn’t wish to end my streak only because I had promised myself I would go for 365, and I don’t want to lie to myself. I mean, sure, I could have broken for a day, and no one would have probably noticed, but I would have noticed. And those of you who read my words each day would have figured it out. So, by writing this post when I felt the timing was right while keeping my promise to remain consistent, I honor my feminine and my masculine.

Balancing Masculine and Feminine: A Lesson for All

However, the rest of the day I will honor my feminine because she has been neglected for too long. My friends, remember to honor your masculine and your feminine. To plan is masculine, and to create is feminine.

In a world that often emphasizes the need for rigid schedules and constant productivity, it’s essential to remember the delicate balance between structure and intuition. Today, I showed you that even in the midst of a 365-day blogging challenge, it’s possible to honor your feminine side, that inner voice that urges you to slow down and listen to your intuition.

We all have responsibilities and commitments, but it’s equally important to nurture the part of us that craves spontaneity and creativity. I’ve discovered that by allowing myself to take a moment and embrace my intuition, I can write from a place of authenticity and inspiration, rather than mere obligation.

So, dear readers, I encourage you to find that balance in your own life. Embrace your masculine when you need to plan and structure your days, but also remember to celebrate your feminine when you want to create, explore, and simply be in the moment. You don’t have to sacrifice one for the other; they can coexist beautifully.

And to those of you who have been following my daily blogging journey, I appreciate your support and understanding. I may have taken a slightly different path today, but I hope you can see the value in this choice. It’s a reminder that we can stay committed to our goals while also staying true to ourselves.

So, my lovely readers, let’s keep that balance in our lives, honor our masculine and feminine energies, and remember that it’s okay to take a step back when needed. I believe in you, and as always, I love you. 💙
