Beyond the Classroom: Unraveling Hidden Histories

Hey there, beautiful ones! If we take a stroll down the memory lane of our school days, we’d find ourselves engulfed in tales of historical figures deemed essential by the public school system. But let’s be honest, there’s a whole universe of history that never made it to our textbooks. Hidden beneath the surface are the stories of goddesses and sirens who held the threads of existence, and I’m on a quest to meet them face to face.

Embracing Life’s Cycles and the Art of Walking Fields

First on my list is Persephone, the goddess of cycles. I want to sit with her and unravel the secrets of embracing life’s ebbs and flows. Then, there’s Lilith, a trailblazer in equality, someone I’d love to walk the fields with. Learning how to balance equality within myself and my partnerships sounds like a heavenly journey. After all, who wouldn’t want a dose of wisdom from the divine duo?

Conversations with the Divine

As I continue my mythical meet-and-greet, a dip into the oceans with Yemaya awaits. Conversing with her about hope in our chaotic world seems like the soulful therapy we all need. Next on my list is Sheela Na Gig, ready to teach me about new gateways. Imagine the possibilities that open up when you embrace the unknown with a touch of divine guidance!

As the list goes on—with Brigid’s healing touch, Hekate lighting my path, Ix Chel breaking old beliefs, and the Valkyries offering redemption—I’m reminded that these goddesses and sirens are not just characters from myths. They are mentors, guiding lights in the journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

In this tapestry of divine encounters, standing face to face with Baba Yaga becomes a metaphor for confronting our authenticity without fear. Each of these larger-than-life figures shapes the essence of womanhood and illustrates the boundless possibilities of what a woman can be.

So, dear readers, do you have a hidden “historical” figure you’d like to meet? The comment section is your canvas—paint it with your dreams and desires. Let’s weave a collective tapestry of inspiration and revelation.

Sending peace your way, and, as always, I love you! 💙

I was told that these people were real, but the stories about them were a bit…stretched. Either way, good choice.

These goddesses and sirens are real. It depends on if you can find the stories that have not been altered by religions.

Exactly. And, I like that you’re using “are real” instead of “were real.” Good point.
