Hey there, beautiful ones. Let’s dive into a topic that I and many others in our collective struggle with: trust. Man, oh man, trust issues can run deep. But the scariest part isn’t just about not trusting others; it’s about not trusting ourselves. And let me tell you, lacking trust in myself has been one heck of a self-deprecating ride. I didn’t trust my intuition, my judgment, my talents, my intelligence, or even my beauty. Reflecting on it now, it’s quite sad, but also incredibly uplifting. Because guess what? I now know all the ways NOT to treat myself.

From Mistrust to Self-Belief
This lack of trust I had in myself projected onto others, creating a cycle of mistrust. And all of it was learned behavior. I had plenty of evidence backing up why I shouldn’t trust myself or anyone else. When you can’t trust your own parents to keep you safe, it’s tough to trust anyone else. So, I convinced myself that I could trust people, only to be repeatedly betrayed. But here’s the kicker: I didn’t trust my own decisions, and that attracted untrustworthy people into my life. These days, I’m not tolerating that nonsense from myself or anyone else. Those who broke my trust are no longer part of my life, and I’m all the better for it.
Building Trust Brick by Brick
These days, I trust myself more and more, and it shows in everything I do. I trusted that I would write for 365 days in a row, blogging to help you along your journey. And here we are, on day 361, and I am absolutely amped. All because I trusted myself. In the past year and a half, I’ve trusted myself more than I ever did in the previous 28 years. Since I was 12, I lacked trust, and now I demonstrate daily just how much I can trust myself. The evidence is clear: from how I feel, what I do, where I go, who I meet, to when I move, and why I am. I am incredibly grateful for this newfound trust.
Trusting myself has also allowed me to trust those I love, knowing they will always do what they say and be there when I need them. The ironic part? I don’t need them at the moment, and that’s perfectly fine. I appreciate having them in my life, but I lean on myself now because I trust me. And it’s an amazing feeling.

Embracing Self-Trust for a Fulfilling Life
So, my lovelies, learn to trust in yourself. Know that you can do whatever you need to live the life you truly desire. It might mean making some tough changes and going through some challenging times, but you are stronger than you think. When you build trust in yourself, you create a solid foundation for your dreams. You start to see the world through a lens of confidence and self-assurance.
Look at me, for example. The journey to self-trust wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Every day, I wake up with a sense of purpose and fulfillment because I trust myself to handle whatever comes my way. And you can do the same.
It’s time to stop doubting yourself and start believing in your abilities. Trust that you are capable, worthy, and deserving of all the good things life has to offer. When you trust yourself, you empower yourself to take bold steps towards your goals. You become resilient in the face of challenges and find strength in your journey.
Beautiful ones, as you navigate your own path, remember to cultivate trust in yourself. It’s the key to unlocking your true potential and living a life of authenticity and joy. I believe in you, and I’m here cheering you on every step of the way. And remember, as always, I love you. 💙
