Hey there, beautiful ones. Do you have a dream, something that you’ve always wanted out of life? For me, I have always had pretty big dreams. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a writer, but not just any writer. I dreamed of being one of the most prolific writers to ever live. Yep. Pretty big dream, right? And it didn’t stop there. As I got older, any time I wanted something, it was never small. I dreamed of big things.

Embracing Big Dreams
However, there was always someone who tried their hardest to kill my dreams. They would say things like, “Try a smaller goal” or “You? I doubt you could do that.” or “That’s way out of your league.” It felt like every time I shared my dreams, someone was ready to deflate them with a pinprick of doubt. So, I started to have my dreams in silence. I won’t pretend phrases like that didn’t discourage me. They stung, and sometimes they even made me question myself.
But I couldn’t let those words be the end of my story. My dreams were like stubborn little seeds that refused to stop growing, no matter how rocky the soil. I realized that the people who tried to limit me were often projecting their own fears and insecurities. They couldn’t see past their own limitations, and so they tried to impose those limitations on me.
The Resilience of Dreams
Even though it was hard, I held onto my dreams. They were my lifeline, my guiding star. I had to get to a place where no matter what anyone thought or felt, I would reach my dreams, hook or crook. It wasn’t an easy journey. I faced setbacks, failures, and countless moments of self-doubt. There were times when I felt like giving up, when the voices of naysayers seemed louder than my own. But something inside me kept pushing forward. Maybe it was sheer stubbornness, or maybe it was the deep, unwavering belief that I was meant for something more.
Nowadays, my dreams are even bigger than they were when I was a child. Some would say they are almost delusional. But you wanna know what? They are slowly but surely coming true. I started to see small victories, little signs that I was on the right path. Each step forward, no matter how small, was a testament to the power of perseverance and belief.

Overcoming Doubt and Critics
There may be people who discourage you from doing the things you want to do in life. I get it. It can be disheartening when those closest to you don’t support your dreams. But remember this, those that mind, don’t matter, and those that matter don’t mind. You are the only one who can see your dreams through. And if you were incapable, the Universe wouldn’t have given you the dream in the first place.
It’s important to surround yourself with positivity. Find people who uplift you, who believe in your potential. Sometimes, that means seeking out new friends, mentors, or communities. Other times, it means tuning out the negativity and trusting yourself. You have everything you need within you to succeed. Your dreams are not a mistake. They are a reflection of your deepest desires and your highest potential.
So, believe in yourself and your dreams. Dream big, because why settle for anything less than extraordinary? Your dreams are valid, no matter how audacious they seem. Don’t let anyone dim your sparkle or shrink your dreams to fit their comfort zone. Keep pushing forward, and remember, the journey is just as important as the destination. Every challenge, every setback, is a part of your growth. Embrace it, learn from it, and keep moving forward.
I believe in you. And remember, as always, I love you. 💙
