Resolutions Are Great Anytime

The average person gets to the beginning of a new year and makes a grand resolution. They want to work out more, get out of their comfort zones or have some ‘me’ time.

I totally get it, however, I stopped making resolutions on January 1st. Instead, I make my resolutions on March 21st for two reasons. One: It’s the day of my birth. Two: It’s the first day of Spring. I use January and February to reflect.

It may be a bit out of the ordinary but it has done wonders for my growth. By making resolutions when the Spring comes in and turning a year older, I am always starting anew. When the animals come out of hibernation and the cherry blossoms begin to bloom on my parent’s front lawn, I am starting fresh.

That’s just how I do things, but truth be told, resolutions are good at any time of the year. It doesn’t have to come down to the beginning of the year. Manifesting your destiny has no deadline.

Whenever you want to start a new habit or rid yourself of one, you should go for it. Don’t just isolate change to January. I sure don’t.

Have you ever considered the Spring? Maybe?
