As I sat down to journal this morning, two questions that came to mind were, “Do I love myself? Do I truly love myself?”
The question interested me, and I began exploring to find the answer.
As I wrote, I thought about different moments in my life. I perused the catalogs of memories stored within me to find a shocking discovery.
Many of my decisions and choices were based on my love for people, places, or things. I could only find one instance where the decision made was based on the love of self.
This made me a bit sad at first, especially when I realized things I thought I did for the love of self when digging deeper, actually were not.
After I allowed myself the emotions of a finding such as this, I came to a conclusion: It is time I start to live for the love of self.

But what does that mean?
- Do I love myself enough to break old patterns?
- Do I love myself enough to create new habits?
- Do I love myself enough to let go of relationships that no longer serve me?
- Do I love myself enough to focus on things that bring me joy rather than stress?
- Do I love myself enough to become the highest version of myself?
My answer is YES to all the questions and will continue to be as long as I am on this plane.
So, let me ask you the same.
Do you love yourself? Do you truly love yourself?
