Small Wins, Big Impact

Hey there, beautiful ones! Today, I want to discuss what I am most proud of. Now, the question of what am I most proud of in my life is a bit loaded. I could say raising 4 children into adulthood and none of them being statistics tops the list. But I am going to address this when it comes to what I am most proud of in my life as a creator. I would have to say that being on Day 146 of a streak that started as a personal 30-day challenge is something I’m most proud of.

Consistency – My Ultimate Triumph

The reason that this is what I am proud of in myself is because I have been a career writer for 14 years and I have never been this consistent. Over the years, people, places, and things were my reasons for not being as consistent as I could have been. I blamed everything and everybody. However, these days I just keep going. The part I am most proud of is the fact that I have been going through a very rough time in my personal life. However, I still manage to keep going even though the walls of my personal life are tumbling down.

The Power of Challenge and Inspiration

There are two reasons why I have continued to post every single day for the past 146 days, and that is 1- I am challenging myself to do this and 2- I want to show you, my dear creator, that it is possible to keep going regardless of what is going on around you.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I will not consider this a habit until I get to Day 365. Why? Because I owe it to myself for all the times over the past 14 years that I used people, places, and things as an excuse not to get things done. This may not be big for some people, but it is major for me. And that’s what it’s all about, right? It’s all about the little wins that we have in life and being proud of what we’ve accomplished.

Every Step Counts – Celebrate Your Wins

In the grand scheme of life, celebrating small wins can sometimes feel like patting yourself on the back for merely surviving breakfast. But I’m here to tell you that those small wins, just like my 146-day streak, are the building blocks of a successful creative journey.

When you achieve something, no matter how minuscule it may seem, you are building resilience and discipline. It’s those small victories that lay the foundation for greater accomplishments. Just like my daily posts, your consistency in creating, even when life is tough, is a testament to your dedication and passion.

So, dear creator, let’s make a pact to celebrate our small wins. Whether it’s hitting a word count goal, finishing a challenging project, or simply sitting down to create amidst life’s chaos, it’s worth a cheer. Remember, progress is progress, and every step forward is a step in the right direction.

In the end, it’s not about the size of the victory but the heart and dedication that you put into it. So, raise your glass to your small wins, and remember, I’m here cheering for you every step of the way.

So, I know you may not think what you are doing is worth being proud of but it is. A goal is a goal. A win is a win. No matter how small, be proud of yourself. I believe in you, and remember, I love you. 💙
