Hey there, beautiful ones! Let’s talk about something many of us experience but rarely discuss openly: outgrowing interests. You know, those hobbies and passions that once consumed our time and energy, only to fade into the background as we journey through life? Yeah, those.

I have to be honest with you; there’s a lot of stuff I no longer do. I mean, I’ve outgrown it in a way. This is much to my husband’s chagrin. Conversations we would have and much of what attracted us to one another have fallen away for me. But hey, that’s life, right?
Take football, for instance. I used to live and breathe the NFL, from the Combine all the way to the Super Bowl. College football? Don’t even get me started—I was all in. Now? Well, I can talk football, but the fire just isn’t there anymore. Same thing with wrestling. I used to love it, but alas, I can do without it. Television and movies? Slowly easing out of the picture as well.
Simplifying Life, Embracing Growth
Now, before you start thinking I’ve turned into a recluse, hear me out. It’s not that I’ve lost interest in everything; it’s just that my priorities have shifted. Only if there’s something on like a documentary or anime, I can sit in silence all day. The mindless social media scroll? Nope, not for me. Social media is a business tool only for me these days, which means my time is limited to creation and connection—and then I’m done for the day.
I like life more and more simple these days, choosing not to distract myself with most things. Unless it can help me grow personally or professionally, it doesn’t even register with me anymore. What can I say? I don’t align with the shenanigans anymore.

Embracing Change, Embracing You
But you know what? That’s perfectly okay, and here’s why. At some point, we get to a place where the usual isn’t enough, and that’s okay. It doesn’t make you weird, and while there may be friends or family who don’t understand what’s going on with you, you’re growing, and that’s okay. Don’t be afraid to change. Don’t be afraid to grow. Don’t be afraid to leave things behind that no longer serve you. It’s perfectly okay.
So, to all the beautiful souls out there navigating the winding paths of life, embrace your evolution. Embrace the changes, the shifts, and the growth. And if you ever find yourself outgrowing certain interests or habits, know that it’s all part of the beautiful journey called life. Keep shining, keep growing, and keep being unapologetically you.
I believe in you. And remember, as always, I love you. 💙
