Hey there, beautiful ones. As we bid adieu to the last week of February, I can’t help but feel a whirlwind of emotions swirling within me. These final weeks of the seasonal year mark the end of an era for me, and while it’s tinged with sadness, there’s also an undeniable sense of excitement for the new chapter that awaits.
Navigating Endings and Beginnings
This has been a challenging time emotionally, to say the least. You see, I’ve been in the process of letting go – of old patterns, of past hurts, and perhaps most significantly, of a chapter in my life that’s been deeply intertwined with my identity. Just a few days ago, my husband and I signed papers to initiate the divorce process.
Seventeen years. That’s how long I’ve known him. Seventeen years of laughter, tears, and shared memories. But as the past year unfolded, it became clear that our paths were diverging. When one person evolves and the other remains stagnant, the foundation of any relationship begins to crack.

Embracing Growth: The Bittersweet Journey of Letting Go
It’s a bitter pill to swallow, realizing that someone you once shared your life with couldn’t bear witness to your growth. Love, it seems, isn’t always enough to bridge the gap between two people heading in different directions. It’s heartbreaking, to say the least, to come to terms with the fact that he preferred me broken, stagnant, and unchanging.
But amidst the heartache lies a glimmer of hope and anticipation for what lies ahead. I’ve come to understand that our paths crossed not to build a lifetime together, but to teach each other valuable lessons about breaking cycles and embracing healing. Our toxic dance, fueled by codependency and fear, was never meant to be our forever.

In Conclusion
So here I am, standing at the crossroads of endings and beginnings, bidding farewell to an era while eagerly awaiting the dawn of a new chapter. It’s a time of profound sadness, yes, but also one of immense excitement and possibility. The road ahead may be uncertain, but I refuse to let anyone steer me away from my growth and self-discovery.
My beautiful friends, if there’s something in your life that’s difficult to walk away from, remember this: your growth and well-being are worth fighting for. Trust in the journey, embrace the lessons, and know that brighter days lie ahead.
I believe in you, dear souls. And remember, as always, I love you. 💙
