Hey there, beautiful ones! Let’s dive into a topic that hits close to home for many of us: attracting what you want versus repelling it. When it comes to our deepest desires, we often find ourselves focusing too much on the outcome.
Yep, I’m guilty of this too. Whether I wanted a new house, a new car, a new job, peace of mind, or a loving relationship, I found myself worrying so much about getting it that it seemed to slip further away. I tried to force situations, and that only made things worse. And heaven forbid my plans went awry—I would spiral into agitation and despair. This, my friends, is the art of repelling what you want.
The Art of Repelling
Trying to manipulate your way to your heart’s desires is like chasing your own shadow. It’s exhausting and futile. Everything in life has its own divine timing, and all your desires are already out there, waiting for you. You just need to align with them. Once I understood this, I stopped trying to force outcomes. Instead, I made intentional efforts toward my goals and let the Universe take care of the rest.
And guess what? Things started to come to me effortlessly. I’ve traveled more in recent times than ever before, with more adventures on the horizon. I’m in the midst of a big move across the country, working with a real estate agent. I’m on Day 363 of my 365-day blog post challenge. I’ve met incredible people. I do what I want, when I want. My life is a complete 360 from where I was a year ago.
Letting go of control has taught me to trust the process. When I believe in my ability to manifest my desires, they come to fruition—whether they unfold slowly or happen in the blink of an eye. This is the art of attracting what you want. When you let go of control and expectations, the world becomes your playground. You either get what you want or something even better.

The Art of Attracting
Let’s delve deeper into the art of attracting what you want. It’s all about releasing control and embracing trust. This doesn’t mean you sit back and do nothing. On the contrary, you take inspired action toward your goals, but without the desperation that repels what you desire.
Think of it like trying to catch a butterfly. If you chase it frantically, it will keep flying away. But if you stay calm and let it come to you, it might just land on your shoulder. The same principle applies to your desires. When I stopped obsessing over the “how” and “when,” opportunities appeared out of nowhere, and I began meeting people who helped me on my journey. It was as if the Universe was waiting for me to chill out so it could work its magic.
Relinquishing control isn’t always easy, but it leads to true freedom. By letting go, you free yourself from anxiety and fear. You start to enjoy the journey rather than stressing about the destination. This opens you up to possibilities you never imagined.

Embrace the Journey
Now, let’s talk about embracing the journey. Take a moment to think about what you’re truly good at and what you bring to the world. We all have unique gifts, and it’s up to you to find and use them to the best of your ability. The key is to trust yourself and the process. Know that you can have whatever you want, but you must release expectations to allow everything to come to you.
The last thing you want is to push away something you truly desire because you’re too focused on controlling how it will come to you. Just let it be. Everything is always working out exactly as it should.
So, my lovelies, the message here is simple: trust yourself and the process. When you relinquish control and embrace the journey, you create space for your dreams to manifest. Whether things unfold slowly or happen all at once, trust that the Universe has your back.
I believe in you. And remember, as always, I love you. 💙
