Hey there, beautiful ones! Today is a VERY special day for me. It marks the 365th day of my 365-day challenge to write a blog post every day. For those who don’t know the story, let me take you on a little journey.
From Dreams to Dedication
A year ago, I found myself at a crossroads, questioning what I truly wanted from my career as a writer. The obvious answer was to become a New York Times best-seller, a dream I’ve cherished since childhood. But beyond that, I wanted to be a prolific writer, someone whose words resonated deeply in this world. Up to that point, I had written just over 300 blog posts in 13 years—a far cry from prolific.
So, I asked myself, “Trina, how can you show yourself that this is what you want?” The answer came simply: I would write a blog post every day for 30 days. It was a personal goal, one I shared only with my husband at the time.

Embracing the Challenge
Those first 30 days were tough. I questioned myself constantly—was I doing the right thing? Could I really keep this up for a month? I was still new to my healing and spiritual journey, which added layers of resistance and resilience. But as the days passed, I began to enjoy the process. It wasn’t just the writing that made me feel good; it was knowing that my journey could help others going through similar experiences.
By the end of the 30 days, I felt a surge of growth and joy. I decided to extend my challenge for another 30 days and shared it with a few folks. Their excitement was contagious. By day 50, people were congratulating me and encouraging me to go for 100. Normally, outside pressure would make me falter, but this time, it fueled me. I scrapped the 60-day goal and aimed for 365 days—not to impress anyone, but to prove to myself that I could do it.
The Power of Persistence
What I didn’t realize was that this challenge would become a significant part of my healing journey. Each blog post was a piece of my soul—my thoughts, feelings, emotions, and knowledge. Writing became something I looked forward to every day. But I’m not going to lie; there were days when I didn’t want to write, when I felt like I had nothing to say, or when life’s turmoil drained my energy. Yet, I pushed through.
One day, my right shoulder popped out of place. The pain was excruciating, but I fought through it just to post. All the fears, anxieties, depression, anger, and sadness that had held me back in the past were things I faced head-on during this journey. I learned so much about myself, and in doing so, I became a light for others.

The Journey Continues
As the numbers climbed, some suggested I stop counting and let writing be a natural part of my day. But for me, counting was crucial. It was a way to track my progress and remind myself of my commitment. Now that I’ve reached 365 days, I’m proud, but I’m not done. These daily blogs have become a part of my life that I cherish. They’re not just work; they’re a way for me to connect with you and share my journey.
Writing every day has brought me indescribable peace. I’ve faced numerous challenges—losing friends, family, and even my marriage. But through it all, I never gave up. I also experienced incredible joys—traveling more than ever, rekindling relationships, and losing over 50 pounds. Life has been a roller coaster, but writing has been my constant.
I am grateful for myself for believing in me. I am grateful to the Universe, my ancestors, spirit guides, and angels for guiding me along the way. I am grateful to those close to me for cheering me on. Most importantly, I am grateful for you beautiful ones who stop by to read my words.
Believe in Your Dreams
My lovelies, let my journey be a testament to what you can achieve when you set your mind to something. It doesn’t matter what you have or haven’t done up to this point. If you want to do something different, just start. The easy part is beginning; the hard part is believing you can reach the end. The hard part is proving to yourself that you’re worthy of success. The hard part is staying resilient, even when life throws curveballs.
So, if you have a goal in mind, start small. Aim for 30 days and see where it takes you. Trust in yourself and your dreams. No one can take them from you. I believe in you. And remember, as always, I love you. 💙
