Get Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable

A Word Before We Begin

This is going to be the realest thing I’ve ever written for this blog. I’m telling you upfront: I want this to land with love, even when it stings. Especially when it stings. So take a breath, open your heart, and stay with me.

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

Love your neighbor as yourself.

I said it twice so it could settle in. Most of you have heard this principle your entire lives. It’s been spoken over you in churches, whispered in sacred texts, passed down through generations. And yet — so many of us aren’t even trying to live it. Not really.

We are living in a time when the people at the top of the power structure — politicians, billionaires, and those who serve them — are actively causing harm on a global scale. Genocide. Exploitation. The systematic destruction of the most vulnerable people on this planet. And we are distracted.

We are so consumed by hating each other — over politics, race, religion, lifestyle — that we can’t see who is actually orchestrating the chaos. There are more of us than there are of them. That has always been true. And yet they continue.

We’ve Been Conditioned to Look Away

Here’s the part that breaks my heart: we’ve been trained to be comfortable with atrocities.

While governments fund the literal obliteration of entire peoples, we are glued to our screens debating trends. While families are being separated, imprisoned, and destroyed, we are doomscrolling for hours. While children are dying, we are protecting our comfort.

They’ve conditioned you to need them. To fear them. To believe that stepping out of line — even a little — makes you a target. So you don’t jaywalk. You don’t protest. You don’t disconnect. You convince yourself there’s nothing you can do, so you do nothing at all.

And that numbness? That learned helplessness? That is exactly what they count on.

Your Comfort Is Costing Someone Else Their Life

I know that’s a hard thing to read. I mean it with love, but I need you to sit with it.

We can’t keep feeding corporate systems that poison our food, contaminate our water, and shred the natural world for profit — and then wonder why things keep getting worse. We can’t keep sending our money to companies and governments that fund atrocities and expect them to stop.

I hear people say, “I can’t stop working — I have a family to feed.” I understand that. I have a family too. But hear me when I say this: building your own income, your own sovereignty, has never been more accessible than it is right now. You do not have to stay tethered to systems that harm people just to survive. Others have found a way. You can too.

The question is whether you’re willing to try.

We All Have a Role to Play

Not everyone is built for the front lines — and that’s okay. That’s how it’s supposed to be.

Some of us are warriors. Some of us are builders. Some of us are healers, teachers, and way-showers. My role is to rally the troops — to offer guidance, to help each person step into their light so brightly that they wake up the people around them.

But let me be clear: light and love alone won’t fix this. We need a swift, collective reality check. We need people to stop playing small and get into position. The world needs the true masculine and the true feminine to rise — not in opposition to each other, but in partnership, in purpose, in power.

We are One. This is not just a message for one country. I’m speaking to the international community. All of us.

What You Can Actually Do

This is not a helpless situation. Here’s where you can start:

Redirect your money. Leave the mega-corporations wherever you can. Shop local. Buy from small businesses and farms. Take your dollars away from companies that fund and support policies that harm people. Every purchase is a vote.

Migrate from the surveillance economy. Reduce your dependence on big tech platforms that profit from your data and fund the systems you’re fighting against. Use them when you must. Seek alternatives when you can.

Do your inner work. I mean this seriously. Your unhealed wounds keep you stuck in fear, distraction, and division. When you do the work to heal yourself, your light becomes a lighthouse for others. This is not soft advice — this is strategy.

Build community. Meet your neighbors. Attend local meetings. Know what’s happening in your area. Grow food if you can. Reach your hand out to pull someone up. Connection is the antidote to the isolation they’ve built for us.

Reclaim your attention. The hours you spend doomscrolling are hours you could spend building something — a business, a garden, a relationship, a skill. Your attention is the most valuable resource you have. Guard it.

My Plea to You

We are at a turning point. More people are waking up every single day — tapping into the light, evolving, choosing something different. But there are still so many who are asleep, willingly or otherwise. And at this point, if you’ve been hanging around this space and still can’t see the patterns — I need you to look harder.

Willful ignorance is a choice. And the people who benefit from your confusion are counting on you to keep making it.

This is my plea: Wake up. Show up. Love your neighbor the way you say you love yourself — which means you fight for them. You protect them. You refuse to stay comfortable while they suffer.

It’s all fun and games until it comes for you and your family. By then, you’ll wish you had built the community. You’ll wish you had used your voice. You’ll wish you had done something.

Do it now. While you still can.

You Are Not Powerless

I need you to hear this as clearly as the hard stuff: I believe in you. I genuinely do. The fact that you’re here, reading this, means something in you already knows it’s time. Honor that knowing.

The world needs your light. Not the polished, palatable version — the real one. The one that gets uncomfortable. The one that tells the truth. The one that loves so hard it refuses to look away.

Go be that person.

As always — I love you.
